Juliano Prado is a third degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and is one of two head instructors here at Total MMA Studios. A lifelong jiu-jitsu practitioner, Prof. Juliano was one of very few Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts who came to the United States in the mid to late 1990s. Since then, he has had successful careers in both jiu-jitsu and MMA.
Having trained with many elite fighters, Prof. Juliano not only accumulated a 4–2 MMA record but also captured the GC series lightweight title before stepping out of competition in 2008.
Currently, Prof. Juliano is teaching and changing people’s lives through the art of jiu-jitsu; he has been a great mentor and coach to every student who has walked through his door seeking his knowledge.
Adriano Nasal Pereira is a third degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is one of two head instructors here at Total MMA Studios. A long-time Brazilian Top Team member, Prof. Adriano has spent many years training in both jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts.
Prof Adriano is an excellent competitor and captured many jiu-jitsu and submission wrestling competition titles before entering the MMA arena in 2003. Over a span of four years, he not only trained with many great fighters and champions but also amassed a respectable MMA record of 5–3. Recently, Prof. Adriano has turned his attention to teaching and coaching his students here at Total MMA Studios, where he is developing future champions.
Chris Costello is a professional MMA fighter and personal trainer who has been with us for over two years. A former high school league champion and captain of his high school wrestling team Chris has progressed beyond the wresting mats and into both the MMA arena and fitness world, where he has found great success.
